Treasure Canal

I took Jesse and Abby to the doctor's office today.  We have been dealing with a nasty cough that has been going around and around for a while now.  Jesse and Abby were very cooperative while they got weighed, measured, and their temperature taken.  Then we were shuffled into another room while we waited for the doctor.  Licking the arms of the chairs in the doctor's office wasn't even the embarrassing highlight of Jesse's visit to the doctor.  Don't worry I wiped them down with some Clorox wipes from the office.
Immediately the doctor had a concerned look on her face when she went to look into Jesse's ears.  "Looks like there's something in his ears" she exclaimed in an incredulous tone.  Yes in his earS!!! Plural!  Something in both of his ears.  She chuckled as she left to the room to get her lighted scope.  Hahahaha, yes I think this is hilarious!  I am looking at Jesse with the look only a mother can give her child when he has done yet another brilliant maneuver.  The doctor easily retrieved two beads from each of Jesse's ears.  The doctor thoroughly seemed to enjoy her first time fishing something out a child's ears.  Glad my son could give her that unique opportunity.
I have no idea how long they were there, but it very easily could have been weeks.  They were not easy to see unless you looked down into his ear canal.
Jesse needs to find a better place to store his treasures.

This is hilarious! The exact same thing happened to me right before Christmas when I took Isaac and Michael to the doctors. Isaac had put a playmobil rollerblade wheel in his ear:)

Hope they are feeling better!
