Sick Days

Sick days are never fun.  They are really yucky when you don't get to do something that you have been waiting over a year to do.

Emma was supposed to get her braces off today, but a stomach bug got her last night.  I had to call the orthodontist to cancel her appointment this morning.  She had been so excited to get her braces off.  There is a whole lot of metal that will be removed from her mouth.  She can't wait to chew some bubble gum.

Emma never whined or complained about not getting her braces off today.  She is such a good sport even when knocked down by a bug.
