A Shelf of Love

My cabinet that stored all our pottery mugs has been overflowing for quite a while.  We ran out of space from all our mini mugs we have acquired from Mud Dabbers.  I mentioned to Brian a while back about putting a shelf or something under the cabinet by the sink.  It wasn't a good idea at the time.
Today I mention the same thing and I am brilliant all of the sudden.  Brian found an old table top scrap we had been "saving" for something and re-purposed it into this shelf.  He has definitely proven himself handy around here.  He did a great job!

I love being able to see all our favorite mugs every time I go into the kitchen.  I drink more tea because I want to use them.  They also make cute little ice cream bowls for kids.

Now if I can mention to Brian AGAIN that a backsplash would be really nice!  ;)
